The Story

Clothing The Gaps created the Empty Flag Pin as an alternative to the Aboriginal flag whilst they campaigned to #FreeTheFlag and raise awareness of the Aboriginal flag copyright issue. The flag was freed on 25.01.2022, the empty flag will continue to live on as a symbol of the impact of political fashion!

ABOUT THE BRAND 

Clothing the Gaps produces merch with meaning for people to wear their values. Inspired by the Australian health initiative “Closing the Gap”, which seeks to help close the life expectancy gap between Aboriginal people and non-Indigenous Australians, Clothing the Gaps is managed by health professionals to celebrate Aboriginal people and culture. Keep an eye which designs are labeled ‘Ally Friendly” or “Mob Only”.
